Keep Busy breaks her maiden at Carlisle

First-season sire Night Of Thunder added to his winners tally on Wednesday, 26 June when his daughter Look Busy was victorious at Carlisle. Making her third career start after two excellent placings, she showed great tenacity to win by half a length.

Bred by Hackcanter Ltd & Mr P Gleeson, Keep Busy is a daughter of the ten-time winner Look Busy, whose biggest triumph came in the G2 Temple Stakes in 2009. A half-sister to G1-winning juvenile Unfortunately, Look Busy also has a yearling filly by Teofilo.

2,000 Guineas hero Night Of Thunder has now sired five individual winners, and his second in as many days after Bredenbury’s easy triumph at Brighton. His other three winners are all rated 90 or above by Timeform; the unbeaten Wild Thunder, Chesham Stakes fourth Sun Power and Ascot debutant winner Expressionist.
