Darley is pleased to announce the continuation of its support of racing and breeding with the continuation of the UK Darley Maiden Series, the Irish Fillies and Mares series and French Black Type sponsorship for the third consecutive year.
Together with the British Horseracing Authority, Darley is renewing its sponsorship of 20 £40,000 three-year-old and three-year-old + open maiden and novice races, once again run at a wide range of racecourses across the country.
The High Value Development programme is for horses at the beginning of their careers, offers enhanced prize money with the aim of supporting the domestic breeding industry and encouraging the purchase and racing of young talent in Britain.
Sam Bullard, Director of Stallions at Darley, said: “Now in its third year, the Darley Maiden Series continues to be the subject of a great deal of positivity, and we are delighted to continue this sponsorship.
"Supporting breeders, either through this development series or via our contribution to the EBF, remains of paramount importance to Darley.” Meanwhile, the series of Darley-sponsored Black Type races for fillies and mares in Ireland has been extended to six contests in 2025. Each race is worth €55,000 or more, with a prize money total of €350,000.

Cork, 13 June - Munster Oaks (G3), 12f, €60,000

Gowran Park, 13 August - Hurry Harriet Stakes (LR), 9f, €55,000
Curragh, 4 October - Brigid's Pastures Stakes (LR), 6f, €55,000
The breeder of the winner of each race will also receive a nomination to Champion two-year-old and Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Native Trail, who first foals are now on the ground and have been the subject of many positive comments from breeders.

In France, Darley will sponsor four Black Type races, offering total prize money of €270,000.
They are the Listed Prix Amandine at Deauville, the G3 Prix Chloe at Chantilly, the Listed Prix Joubert at ParisLongchamp and the G3 Prix des Reservoirs back at Deauville.
