Thunder Beauty an impressive new Stakes winner for Night Of Thunder

Filly romps to five-length victory in Listed Pipalong Stake at Pontefract

Night Of Thunder added yet another Black Type winner to his record on Tuesday, 5 July when his four-year-old daughter Thunder Beauty ran out the very easy winner of the Pipalong Stakes, run over a mile at Pontefract.

Soon in front under Danny Tudhope, Thunder Beauty dictated the pace throughout and when asked to quicken, eased clear and was never troubled, going on to win by five lengths.

Thunder Beauty, who is trained by David O’Meara, was last seen finishing second to Saffron Beach in the G2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Bred by Kildaragh Stud & Michael Downey, Thunder Beauty is out of the multiple winner Quiania (Dansili), herself a daughter of Group winner Quilanga.

Night Of Thunder has a very impressive record with Dansili mares: to date he has had nine runners for nine winners, three Stakes winners (33%) and four Stakes performers (44%). Others bred on this cross include G3w Pocket Square, plus 2022 Stakes winners Media Storm and G2 juvenile Qaader.
