Night Of Thunder looks to have another exciting three-year-old on his hands as his daughter Sunly ran out an impressive winner of the Listed Prix de la Seine at ParisLongchamp over a mile and three furlongs on Sunday, 4 May.
Now two from two, the May-foaled Sunly was settled in mid-division and drew readily clear when asked for an effort in the home straight, going on to win by two and a half lengths. Her trainer Francis Graffard, stated after the race that the G3 Prix de Royaumont on 1 June would be her next target.
Another nice filly for the @GraffardRacing stable!

Owned and bred by Juddmonte Farms, Sunly is the fourth foal out of the multiple Stakes-winning and G1-placed mare Suffused, a half-sister to G1 St Leger winner Logician.
Night Of Thunder has made another stellar start to the year, with six Stakes winners to his name so far, including recent G1 Jenny Wiley Stakes scorer Choisya. There is plenty to look forward to for the sire in 2025, including G1 Irish Champion Stakes winner Economics, who could make his seasonal return in the G1 Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot.
