Son of Farhh wins sprint G3

Far Above makes all in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket

Far Above, a four-year-old son of Farhh, landed his first Group contest on Saturday, 6 June when winning the G3 Palace House Stakes at Newmarket. Showing electric speed from the stalls, he made all the running up the stands side rail in the five furlong contest to beat Judicial (Iffraaj) by three quarters of a length.

Far Above has now won four of his five career starts including a Listed victory in the Prix Kistena at Deauville last season.

Bred by Mohamed Abdul Malik and a 105,000gns Breeze Up purchase, Far Above is the first foal of the Shamardal mare Dorraar. He is a grandson of the Oaks-placed filly Bahr and a relative of Dubawi’s three-time G1 winner Benbatl.

Farhh has sired an impressive 15% Stakes winners to runners from his first two crops. His nine Black Type winners are led by last seasons G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes hero King Of Change.
