Seven winners for first-season sire Night Of Thunder

Silent Night breaks her maiden at Bro Park

Silent Night, a two-year-old first-crop daughter of Night Of Thunder, became her sire’s seventh individual winner when breaking her maiden in fine style at Bro Park on Sunday, 30 June. Second on debut two weeks earlier, Silent Night won with plenty in hand to cap a fantastic week for her sire.

Silent Night is the first foal out of the Dynaformer mare Raihaana from the family of G2 Al Fahidi Fort winner Derbaas and European Champion two-year-old colt Aljabr.

Night Of Thunder has sired four new winners this week alone, with the fillies Bredenbury and Keep Busy both hitting the mark at Brighton and Carlisle, whilst colt Thunderous kept on well to win on debut at Doncaster for trainer Mark Johnston and owners Highclere Thoroughbreds.
