Promising first-season sire Space Blues added a new winner to his record on Sunday, 12 October when his daughter Sing The Blues was a comfortable winner of the six-furlong novice Stakes at Goodwood.
The William Haggas-trained filly showed good early speed to get to the front and was brought over to the nearside rail by jockey Cieren Fallon. When asked for an effort just over one furlong out, she found plenty and went on to win by a length and a quarter.

Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, Sing The Blues is the second foal out of Sea The Stars mare Solar Star, who herself is from the family of G2 winner Dee Ex Bee, and the outstanding Champion Dubai Millennium.
Space Blues is yet another son of Dubawi to have made a brilliant start to his stallion career. He became the fastest stallion from the Dubawi line to sire a G1 winner when his son Power Blue won the Phoenix at the Curragh.
