Meydan G2 win for daughter of Farhh

Fairy Glen lands the Dubai Gold Cup

Farhh’s progressive five-year-old daughter Fairy Glen landed her second G2 of the year on Saturday, 28 March when winning the Dubai Gold Cup over two miles at Meydan. Shunning the tearaway leader Sunway, she was held up in the main pack before showing a devastating turn of foot to win by half-a-length over Caballo De Mar with Al Nayyir (Dubawi) back in third.

Fairy Glen has now won three consecutive Stakes races after the Listed River Eden Stakes last November, and the G2 Balachine over nine furlongs in February.

Bred by Godolphin, Fairy Glen is the first foal of the Dubawi mare Natural Scenery, a daughter of the Classic-placed Argentina.

The sire of 12 Group winners at an impressive 6.6% to runners, Farhh has sired three G1-winning milers in new Darley stallion Tribalist, King Of Change and Fonteyn.
