Juvenile Stakes winner for Poet’s Voice

Summer Festival lands the Listed Premio Campobello in Milan

Poet’s Voice has been enjoying a superb season with his juveniles and on Sunday, 22 October one of his 28 winners, Summer Festival, graduated to become a Stakes winner in the Listed Premio Campobello. Already the winner of three races this season, he went to the front from the stalls in the 1800m contest, never seeing another rival to record a game victory.

Bred by Pinnacle Bloodstock, Summer Festival is a son of the winning Diktat-mare Kammaan, a sister to the Stakes-winning juvenile Toolain.

It is not just his juveniles that Poet’s Voice is excelling with this season. Just yesterday his son Poet’s Word ran an excellent race to finish runner-up in the G1 Champion Stakes. He also has a brace of European Classic winners in Poetic Dream and Mi Raccomando as well as a potential star in Australia in Viridine, unbeaten in four starts including a last-time-out victory in the G2 Roman Consul Stakes.
