Golden Horn is already making 2021 his year

With eight unbeaten three-year-olds, this exciting young sire is simply flying

Golden Horn has got off to a sensational start, with eight unbeaten horses from his 2018 crop – a figure that can only be bettered by Dubawi. This number is level with Frankel, and better than Kingman, Galileo, Lope de Vega and Sea The Stars!

His Classic-crop winners this year already include John Gosden’s impressive novice winner Law Of The Sea, victorious over 12 furlongs at Kempton earlier this month, plus Mothill, who won by four and a half lengths on his debut in France two days ago.

Mothill, and yesterday’s impressive first-time-out Cagnes-Sur-Mer victor Gold, were Golden Horn’s 17th and 18th winners from his current three-year-old crop. This puts him ahead of Wootton Bassett, Night Of Thunder, Le Havre, Lope de Vega, Sea The Moon, Teofilo, Mastercraftsman, Nathaniel, and many more.

Golden Horn also has an exceptional strike rate with his first runners. Since 2019, only Night Of Thunder has a higher percentage of wins to runs – 20% versus Golden Horn’s 19%.

Just a month into the new year, things are looking very promising indeed for this young Darley stallion.
