Bred by Grenane House Stud and bought by connections for £38,000 as a yearling, Night Colours is a daughter of the Green Desert mare Many Colours, who has already bred two winners by Dubawi in Trillionaire and Technicolour.
Night Of Thunder has also sired Group-winning filly Under The Stars, the highly rated Stakes winner Molatham and the unbeaten Listed winner Thunderous.
