Four-year-old mare Just Discreet becomes the third Stakes winner for her sire on the day

Resuming from a 10 week spell, four-year-old Exceed And Excel mare Just Discreet captured the Listed Matrice Stakes over 6.5f at Morphettville on 23 March in Australia to become the 66th international Stakes winner for her sire.

Bred by David Peacock, Just Discreet is out of the Stakes placed Bluebird mare Oh So Discreet, a half-sister to G2 winner Be Discreet, Gilded Angel, She’s Discreet (dam of I’m Discreet (Elusive Quality) and Very Discreet (Exceed And Excel)), My Advocator and Oahu. Oh So Discreet has now produced three Stakes performers from five runners with G3-winning Shamardal filly Maybe Discreet and the Stakes placed Always Discreet (Exceed And Excel) joining Just Discreet. Oh So Discreet has a yearling colt by Commands, a weanling colt by Lonhro and was covered by Lonhro once again in the latest breeding season.
