Aga Khan-bred three-year-old impresses on her debut at Saint-Cloud

Facing a field of fellow debutants, the Aga Khan-bred three-year-old filly Zayva impressed on Wednesday 11 May at Saint-Cloud.

Leading from the start, the daughter of Raven's Pass only had to beat nudged out to win by one-and-a-quarter lengths from Lbretha (Exceed And Excel) with a further seven lengths back to Soleil Malpic (Slickly) with seven further rivals left toiling. Out of the King's Best mare Zayanida, Zayva if a half-sister to G1 Secretariat Stakes runner-up Ziyarid and winners Zayam (Shamardal) and Zaziyr (Cape Cross).
