Saturday, 19 September was a banner day for Night Of Thunder siring two new Group winning juveniles at Newbury and Ayr.
First to strike was Nabati, who continued his progression by landing the G2 Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury. Run over six furlongs, he appreciated being back on fast ground and battled gamely to record a third victory in five career starts.

Bred by Forenaghts Stud and a 850,000gns yearling, Nabati is the second foal bred out of Pronouncement, who had already produced the Stakes-placed gelding Chicago Call.
Trainer Charlie Appleby mentioned afterwards that he will likely head to Keeneland for the G1 Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint.
The double was completed at Ayr when Night Of Thunder’s daughter Silent Beauty handled the heavy ground well to win the G3 Firth Of Clyde Stakes by nearly two lengths, with Angel In My Heart (Harry Angel) gaining valuable Black Type in third.

Coming into the race on the back of a Listed win at Ripon, Silent Beauty has now won three of her four career starts.
Bred by S.D.C.L and Alexander Bloodstock, Silent Beauty was a €1,000,000 yearling at Goffs Orby and is out of the G1 Matron Stakes heroine No Speak Alexander (Shalaa), who also has a filly foal by Blue Point.
Night Of Thunder has now sired 22 Group winners in 2026, more than any stallion in the world. They are led by the unbeaten Bow Echo and Europe’s leading older horse Ombudsman.
In France, Dubawi sired a new Group winner when his four-year-old daughter Anakova landed the G3 Prix Bertrand de Tarragan. Run over 1800m, the Werteimer et Frere-homebred filly swooped late to just get the better of Pierchic (Palace Pier).
