Son of Iffraaj wins the Saudi 2,000 Guineas

Al Haram, a three-year-old son of Iffraaj, remained unbeaten with a very impressive victory in the Saudi 2,000 Guineas over one-mile on dirt. A 150,000gns Goffs UK Premier yearling, he has now won all his three starts by over 13 lengths combined after today’s seven and a quarter length triumph.

Bred by Seamus Phelan, Al Haram is the first winner bred out of the unraced mare Liberamente, who hails from the family of G1 July Cup hero Limato.

Iffraaj is the sire of 103 individual Black Type winners with his 13 top-flight scorers headed by Wootton Bassett and Ribchester. He is standing in 2026 for a fee of £10,000 Oct 1 SLF.
