Eighth Stakes victory for Dubawi mare
Catkins claims G3 Sheraco Stakes at Rosehill
Arguably Australia’s most-consistent racehorse, Dubawi mare Catkins recorded her eighth Stakes victory with a dominant display in the G3 Sheraco Stakes over 6f at Rosehill, September 13.
Resuming from a spell, Catkins was sent out a short-priced favourite and did not let her supporters down, cruising to a two-and-a-half length win.
Bred by Owen Carter, Catkins is the second foal from Catbird mare Salix Caprea, a half-sister to Stakes winner Rally.
Dubawi is the sire of 26 Stakes winners in 2014 among them G1 winners Night Of Thunder, Tiger Tees, Prince Bishop and Lucky Nine.
