Zarak easily wins the G3 Dubai Millennium Stakes

The impeccably bred son of Dubawi wins his first Group race

In a race named after his illustrious sire Dubai Millennium, Dubawi sired a new Group winner on 16 February when his impeccably-bred Zarak barely had to come off the bridle to score with ease. A top-class three-year-old, Zarak’s best performance came in the G1 Prix du Jockey Club when not beaten far into second behind Almanzor.

An Aga Khan homebred colt, there are not many better bred horses in the world with his dam being the unbeaten G1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe heroine Zarkava.

Dubawi, sire of 18 Group winners last year alone, has now sired 78 Group winners, including top-flight scorers Postponed and New Bay, plus fellow Darley stallions Hunter's Light, Night Of Thunder and Poet's Voice.
