Wells Farhh Go keeps bandwagon rolling

Colt gives his sire first win in Britain

Farhh was represented by his first victory as a sire in Britain on Friday evening when Wells Farhh Go landed the novice median auction stakes at York.

Already off the mark in Italy with the Stakes-placed Fa Ul Sciur, Farhh has also been represented by the placed runners Iconic Sunset and Tranquil Soul from only five runners to date.

Bred by Maria Marron out of the Galileo mare Mowazana, Wells Farhh Go is a half-brother to several winners and hails from the top family of Roseate Tern and Ibn Bey.

Running over seven-furlongs for trainer Tim Easterby, Wells Farhh Go showed a good turn of foot to make headway over a furlong from home before staying on strongly to win by two and a quarter lengths.

Farhh was himself a top-class performer, recording G1 victories in the Lockinge and the Champion Stakes. He stands at Dalham Hall Stud, Newmarket.
