Tiger Tees wins G3 Concorde Stakes

Son of Dubawi strikes again

Tiger Tees, a five-year-old son of Dubawi, claimed victory with a dominant display in the G3 Concorde Stakes at Warwick Farm over five-and-a-half furlongs.

His convincing win – on his first start after a break - means that Tiger Tees has now won nine of 13 starts and added more black type to his BRC Sprint victory claimed during the Brisbane winter carnival.

Bred by M J Ryan, Tiger Tees is out of Parfore, by Gold Brose, and trainer Joe Pride has big expectations after such an impressive return considering his last run was in early June. Dubawi was also in the Australian headlines last weekend when his three-year-old daughter Lady Of Harrods made all the running to land the G3 HDF McNeil Stakes over six furlongs at Caulfield.

Dubawi has also posted solid results in recent sales in Europe, with his yearling daughter Elusive Flash topping the BBAG Sale in Germany and a colt out of the Kirkwall mare Ronaldsay selling for £180,000 at the DBS Premier Sale.

The son of Dubai Millennium stands at Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket and is the sire of 45 stakes winners, with his fellow Darley sire Poet's Voice among his list of eight individual Group One winners
