Victoire Magique, a three-year-old son from Victor Ludorum’s first crop, won his first Stakes race on Saturday, 8 August when landing the Listed Prix Michel Houyvet. Run over 3000m at Deauville, he asserted near the finish to win by a neck.
Bred by Framont Ltd and a 40,000gns yearling, Victoire Magique is a son of the four-time winning mare Purple Magic, who is from the family of Group performers Cesare and Mont Etoile. Purple Magic also has an unraced two-year-old colt by Harry Angel named Magic Harry.
Shamardal’s Classic-winning son Victor Ludorum has sired 44 winners from his first crop including Stakes performers Victoire Magique, Commander’s Intent, Family Secret and Vintage.
