Second Stakes victory for son of Teofilo

Brasilian Man strikes in the Listed Premio Circo Massimo

Brasilian Man won his second Stakes race on Sunday, 21 March in the Listed Premio Circo Massimo. Run over 2000m in Rome, the progressive son of Teofilo was not hard-pressed to record a two-and-a-half length triumph.

Bred by Diego Romeo and out of the Oasis Dream mare Alta Fedelta, Brasilian Man landed the G3 Premio Ambrosiano in June last season and finished the year with a narrow second in the G2 Premio Roma. He has now won five of his 13 career starts.

Teofilo has sired 95 individual Stakes winners including 21 that have won at the highest level. Standing at a fee of €30,000, he enjoyed an excellent 2020 with six G1 winners including Hong Kong star Exultant, Melbourne Cup hero Twilight Payment, Classic winner Subjectivist and star juvenile Gear Up.
