Quidura goes gate-to-wire to win the G2 Woodford Reserve Ballston Spa Stakes

Daughter of Dubawi earns her third Graded Stakes win in front-running fashion

Quidura went to the front a few strides out of the starting gate and never looked back as she went wire-to-wire to win the G2 Woodford Reserve Ballston Spa Stakes by two lengths at Saratoga Aug. 25.

It was the third Graded Stakes win for the talented five-year-old daughter of Dubawi. She also boasts victories in the G2 Canadian Stakes and G3 Pin Oak Valley View Stakes. The win improved her record to five wins in 11 career starts.

Bred in England by Gestut Fahrhof, Quidura is out of the Stakes-placed mare, Quetena, and is a half-sister to German champions Querari (G1 Premio Presidente Repubblica) and Quasillo. Quidura’s second dam is Quebrada (by Devil’s Bag), champion two- and three-year-old filly in Germany.

Dubawi is having yet another incredible year in 2018 with 24 black type winners, including G1 winners Wild Illusion, Benbatl, and North America.
