Shamardal has injured his withers and is to be rested for the remainder of the southern hemisphere season

Shamardal has injured his withers which has seen him off covering duty in recent weeks.

He is convalescing in his paddock and will be rested for the remainder of the southern hemisphere breeding season. He is expected to make a full recovery before the end of the year.

Shamardal will return to Europe with the other shuttle stallions in time for the northern hemisphere breeding season where he is expected to cover a full book of mares.
