Powder Snow gains a valuable Stakes win

Daughter of Dubawi lands the Listed Kolner Stutenpreis in Germany

Dubawi sired the first and third home in the Listed Kolner Stutenpreis on Sunday 25 September when Powder Snow just got the better of Monaco Show with Amazona finishing a very close third. Trained in France by Henri-Alex Pantall, Powder Snow was winning her first Stakes race after finishing second in a similar contest on her last start at Baden-Baden.

A three-year-old daughter of the Sadler’s Wells mare Snow Ballerina, Powder Snow is a granddaughter of the Oaks heroine Snow Bride, who also produced the unbeaten European Champion Lammtarra.

Dubawi has now sired 25 Stakes winners on the year including the three-time top-flight scorer Postponed and recent Prix Vermeille heroine Left Hand. Nine of these Stakes winners have come in the month of September and also includes the Turkish G2W Move Up, G2 Blandford Stakes heroine Shamreen and the highly-rated fillies Journey and So Mi Dar.
