Daughter of Dubawi lands Listed Prix Ceres

Doom, a three-year-old daughter of Dubawi, gained a valuable Stakes victory on Saturday, 25 November when taking the Listed Prix Ceres. Run over 1400m at Fontainebleau in France, she beat a competitive field of 16 rivals by one-and-a-quarter lengths.

Owned and bred by James Wigan, she is the first Stakes winner bred out of Breeders’  Cup Filly & Mare heroine Dank.

Dubawi has been enjoying an excellent year and Doom was his 38th individual Stakes winner. Eight have won at the highest level including star miler Modern Games, who will stand alongside his father at Dalham Hall Stud in 2024, and unbeaten juvenile Henry Longfellow, winner of the G1 National Stakes at the Curragh. He will stand at a fee of £350,000 next season.
