Oaks cruise for Charity Line

Daughter of Manduro wins G2 Oaks d'Italia by four-and-a-half lengths

Manduro's three-year-old daughter Charity Line won her fourth start at her fourth attempt when easily winning the G2 Oaks d'Italia at Milan by four-and-a-half lengths. A winner on her only start at two, she added to a conditions win at Rome in March and an easy triumph in the listed Premio Baggio at the start of this month.

Bred by Razza Del Velino Srl, Charity Line is out of the Stakes winner Holy Moon and a half-sister to last seasons Oaks d'Italia winner Cherry Collect and from the family of another Oaks d'Italia heroine in Bright Generation.

Manduro, who is currently standing his first season in France at a fee of €10,000, has sired six G1 or G2 performers including Mandaean, who was a G1-winning juvenile in France; Dante Stakes hero Bonfire; Fractional, unbeaten at a mile including the G3 Prix Quincey; and French G3-winning filly Trois Lunes.
