Ninth Stakes victory for son of Farhh

Tribalist lands the G2 Prix du Muguet at Saint-Cloud

Farhh’s high-class colt Tribalist was an easy winner of the G2 Prix du Muguet over a mile at Saint-Cloud for the third year running on Thursday, 1 May. It was his ninth stakes victory, with seven coming in Group company, including the G1 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp last year.

Making all the running, Tribalist drew clear in the home straight under Mickael Barzalona to win unchallenged, with Night Of Thunder’s four-year-old son Vertbois his nearest pursuer two lengths back in second.

Bred by Car Colston Hall Stud, Tribalist is a son of Nathaniel mare Fair Daughter, who is a half-sister to G1-winning juvenile Crowded House.

Farhh is the sire of three individual G1 winners, all of which came over a mile with Tribalist landing the Prix du Moulin, Fonteyn landing the Sun Chariot Stakes, and King Of Change winning the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.
