New winner for Rio de la Plata

Do It In Rio easily breaks her maiden in France

Do It In Rio broke her maiden in style on Sunday 25 September when winning over a mile at Tours in France by three-and-a-half lengths, with his paternal half-sister Olympian Lady making a promising debut back in third. A consistent filly, Do It In Rio was making her fourth career start and had already been placed twice at Vichy.

Bred by Gestut Celtic Hill, Do It In Rio is the second winner bred out of the Agnes World mare Double Dollar, a relative of G3 Cherry Hinton Stakes scorer Applaud.

Rio de la Plata has now sired eight individual winners including the recent impressive winning filly Thais, who holds an entry in the G1 Prix Marcel Boussac.
