New winner for Casamento

Kings Gift wins on his second start at Ayr

First-season stallion Casamento sired a new winner when his son Kings Gift proved to be too good on his second career start. After showing distinct promise on his debut at Redcar, he came into the race as favourite and duly obliged, quickening well inside the final furlong to win with something to spare.

Bred by Old Carhue & Graeng Bloodstock, Kings Gift is a son of the winning Kingmambo mare Jawaaneb, whose dam is a sister to Champion Sakhee.

Casamento, the winner of the G1 Racing Post Trophy as a juvenile, has now sired eight individual winners, all coming since the end of May. Amongst them are the impressive Windsor scorer Barrington and highly-rated Irish winners Giselle’s Charm and Noivado.
