New Stakes winner for Teofilo

Saiga lands the Listed Prix Caravelle in France

Saiga, a three-year-old daughter of Teofilo, landed her first Stakes victory on Monday, 11 May in the Listed Prix Caravelle. Run over 2100m at Toulouse, the Anthony Crastus-ridden filly led near the line to record a narrow victory.

Teofilo, who is covering this season at €40,000 Oct 1, SLF, has now sired 88 individual Stakes winners. Among his 16 G1 winners is Exultant, who enhanced his career earnings to more than €5,300,000 with victory in the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Sha Tin last month.
