New Stakes winner for Manduro

Duca Di Mantova becomes the 25th Black type performer for his sire

Duca Di Mantova rounded off a successful year for Manduro when becoming his 12th Stakes winner, landing the Listed Premio U.N.I.R.E. at Naples.

Winning the 11-and-a-half furlong contest by a length and a half, the four-year-old colt was recording his fifth career win.

Bred by Stefano Luciani, he is out of the Group-winning Wolfhound mare Vale Mantovani, who was placed in both the Italian Guineas and Italian Oaks. She is from the family of the multiple G1-winning Champion Afleet Alex.

Manduro is also sire of unbeaten G1 winner Charity Line, fellow G1 winner Mandaean, plus a further four Group winners. He stands at Haras du Logis at a fee of €7,000 October 1st Special Live Foal.
