New Group-winning filly for Harry Angel

A Lilac Rolla strikes in the G3 Priory Belle Stakes at Leopardstown

Harry Angel’s exciting three-year-old daughter A Lilac Rolla remained unbeaten on Sunday, 7 April when landing the G3 Priory Belle Stakes. A trial for the 1,000 Guineas run at Leopardstown, she handled the testing ground well to hold off Kitty Rose after a prolonged duel in the straight. A Lilac Rolla is now unbeaten in three starts after two victories as a juvenile last season.

Bred by John Cullinan, A Lilac Rolla is from the extended family of Champion miler Bahri and is one of six winners bred out of the Red Ransom mare Mejala.

Harry Angel has now sired ten Stakes winners including Australian G1 winner Tom Kitten, Group-winning sprinters Marshman and Al Dasim, and Stakes winners Vicious Harry, Iconic Moment, Proverb and Cadeau Belle. He is standing this season at Dalham Hall Stud for a fee of £10,000.
