Alwaysanangel became the second juvenile Black Type winner on the day for her sire Harry Angel with an impressive victory in the Listed Firville Stakes over seven furlongs at Cork on Friday 14 August.
At the rear of the field throughout the early parts of the race, Alwaysanangel started to move up approaching the two-furlong marker before pulling away in the final furlong to win comfortably by about two lengths.
A winner on her racecourse debut at Fairyhouse on 1 July, Alwaysanagel was third only nine days later in the G2 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes over six furlongs at Newmarket’s July meeting.
Alwaysanangel was bred by Mr R. Kavanagh and is out of the unraced Dalakhani mare Totsiyah, dam of five winners from all five of her foals to race.
Alwaysanangel was Harry Angel’s second Stakes winning juvenile of the afternoon after his daughter Angels Lane won the Listed St Hugh’s Stakes at Newbury earlier in the day. Harry Angel has 18 Stakes horses worldwide in 2026, headed by his G1-winning Australian superstar Tom Kitten.
