Mares tested in foal to Creachadoir

First-season sire off the mark at Haras du Logis.

Group One winner Creachadoir has had his first mares scanned in foal at Haras du Logis.

The Lockinge Stakes winner, who was runner-up in both the French and Irish Guineas, retired to stud this year, joining his sire, King’s Best, in Normandy.

“Creachadoir has made a very good start to his new career,” said Julian Ince of Haras du Logis. “He has a high percentage of mares in foal, including Rowat Arazi, the dam of Grade One winner Bribon.”

Ince added: “Creachadoir has proved very popular in France and we’re extremely pleased with the quality of mares he is receiving.”

Creachadoir also stands alongside Layman and Librettist, both of whom have their first two-year-old runners this year, Country Reel and Sulamani, sire of Classic winner Mastery from his first crop.
