Impressive win for Emily Dickinson in G3 Loughbrown Stakes at the Curragh

Three-year-old filly becomes latest Group winner for Dubawi

Dubawi sired a new Group winner on Sunday, 23 October, when his three-year-old daughter Emily Dickinson stormed home to an impressive five-and-a-half length victory in the G3 Loughbrown Stakes at the Curragh, Ireland.

Stepping up in trip, the Aidan O’Brien-trained filly quickened up well and hit the front just entering the final furlong, under Seamie Heffernan she strode clear to an easy win in the two mile contest.

Bred by the Chicquita Syndicate, Emily Dickinson is the third foal out of G1 Irish Oaks heroine Chicquita (Montjeu). She has also produced Group-placed fillies Nicest and Secret Thoughts.

Dubawi has now sired 42 Stakes winners this season, seven have won at the highest level including Naval Crown (G1 Platinum Jubilee Stakes), Guineas winners Modern Games and Coroebus, dual German G1 winner Rebel’s Romance and St Leger hero Eldar Eldarov.  He is also the sire of My Oberon who won the G2 Crystal Mile at The Valley on his Australian debut on Saturday.
