Silent Beauty, a juvenile daughter of Night Of Thunder, recorded her first Black Type success when running out the very easy winner of the Ripon Champion 2yo Trophy. Run over six furlongs on rain-softened ground, she was always in the front rank and was never extended to win by three lengths.

Bred by S.D.C.L and Alexander Bloodstock, Silent Beauty was a €1,000,000 yearling at Goffs Orby and is out of the G1 Matron Stakes heroine No Speak Alexander (Shalaa), who also has a filly foal by Blue Point.
Night Of Thunder is fast approaching a notable milestone having now sired 95 individual Black Type winners. 13 have won at the highest level and include the two top rated horses trained in Europe this season through Bow Echo and Ombudsman.
Earlier in the day at Chepstow first-season sire Naval Crown sired a new winner through the Jeff Smith-homebred filly Naval Cop. Out of the Exceed And Excel mare Fair Cop, she was winning on her fourth career start.
