One of the headline results of the Magic Millions National Sale came on Tuesday when G2 winner and G1 performer Stretan Angel (Harry Angel) sold to Arrowfield Stud for $1.6 million.
The daughter of Harry Angel was offered by Yarraman Park Stud, as agent, and attracted strong competition before being secured by the leading Hunter Valley nursery.
Bred by Kirk’s Bridge Farm, Stretan Angel retires to the broodmare ranks with a race record that saw her establish herself among the best sprinting mares of her generation. From 26 starts, she won three races and earned more than $1.3 million, highlighted by victory in the G2 Danehill Stakes and placings at G1 level.
Her sale adds to the growing momentum behind Harry Angel, whose progeny continue to perform at the elite level in Australia and internationally.
