Que Tempestaย produced a smart performance to became the latest new Group winner for his sire Territories, as he stormed home to an impressive victory in the 2400m G2 Gran Premio del Jockey Club at Milan, Italy on Sunday, 15 October.
The four-year-old colt was recording his fifth career win and made light work as he stepped up into Group company for the first time.
Trained by Roberto Biondi, Que Tempesta travelled well in mid-division, with a strong run up the centre of the track he gained the lead with just over 200m to run and soon eased clear of the field to post a comfortable four-length win.

Bred in Ireland by Mount Coote Estates, Que Tempesta was a 21,000gns yearling purchase. He is one of six winners produced by the winning Danehill Dancer mare, Tipperary Boutique, who is the daughter of Moselle, a Champion Older Female in GB.
Territories has so far sired 15 Stakes-performers this year.ย They are headed by Regional who scored in the G1 Haydock Sprint Cup and G2-winner,ย Navajo Peak.
