First Stakes victory for Tiffany

Farhh’s three-year-old daughter prevails in Germany

Farhh’s three-year-old daughter, Tiffany, became the latest Stakes winner for her sire when stepped up in class to earn her first Black Type success in the Listed Großer Preis der Privatbank ODDO BHF over 2000m at Hannover, Germany on Sunday, 17 September.  Owned and bred by Elite Racing Club, Tiffany was recording her fourth win of the season, having won three times in novice and handicap company in the summer.

Jumping well from the gates, the Sir Mark Prescott-trained filly, was soon settled to travel handily, just off the pace. Entering the straight she made her way over to the stands side rail where she was then ridden out by Luke Morris to prevail by a length and a quarter.

From the family of multiple G1-winner Soviet Song, Tiffany is out of winning-mare Affinity (Sadler’s Wells), who has produced four other winners including Stakes-performers Zest and Harmonic. Affinity is the daughter of Kalinka, who was also responsible for Soviet Song.

Farhh is now the sire of 25 individual Stakes-performers, including G1 winners King Of Change and last year’s G1 Sun Chariot heroine Fontyn, whilst his four-year-old son Tribalist landed a treble of Group wins earlier in the year.
