First foal for multiple G1 winner Victor Ludorum

‘Strong, muscular colt’ arrives at Normandie Breeding

The first reported foal by G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere and G1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains winner Victor Ludorum was born on Thursday, 12 January.

Out of Ever Sun Shine, he was described by his breeder Guilaume Vitse as “a strong colt, of good size and muscular like his father.

“He is a good-looking colt and I am very, very happy with him!”

The dam is an unraced Le Havre mare out of Stakes performer Power Of The Moon, herself a half-sister to G2 winner and multiple Stakes producer Zinziberine.

Victor Ludorum, the fastest colt ever to run the straight mile at Deauville, was very well supported during his first season at Haras du Logis. His first book of 154 mares includes four G1 winners or their dams.

Victor Ludorum stands at a fee of €15,000, Oct 1, SLF.
