Farhh’s son Wells Farhh Go makes a winning return

Victory in the Listed Fred Archer Stakes for the four-year-old colt

It was a successful return to action for Farhh’s first-crop son Wells Farhh Go who comfortably took the Listed Fred Archer Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday, 29 June. A winner of the G3 Bahrain Trophy on the July course last season, Wells Farhh Go took an early lead and was pushed clear a furlong out easing down across near the line to win by four lengths. This is the third Group success for the first-crop son of Farhh having also taken the G3 Acomb Stakes at York as a juvenile.

Bred by Maria Marron, Wells Farhh Go is the sixth winner and best performer out of the Galileo mare Mowazana. This is the family of G1 Prix de l’Abbaye second Rangali, G1 Fillies’ Mile winner Red Bloom and Champion colt Ibn Bey.

Farhh sires 11% stakes winners to runners with this seasons performers led by the G2 winner Move Swiftly and the G1 placed Dee Ex Bee, winner of the G3 Sagaro Stakes earlier in the year.
