Dynamic Pricing arrives just in time to win G3 Beaugay Stakes

Four-year-old filly caps off tremendous day for Night of Thunder

Dynamic Pricing kicked off her 2025 campaign with an eye-catching victory in the G3 Beaugay Stakes at Belmont at the Big A on Sunday, 4 May.

While the winning margin was just a half-length, it was the fact that the four-year-old Night Of Thunder filly had to overcome all sorts of traffic problems, including being floated 10-wide at the top of the stretch after Raqiya (Blue Point) blew the turn. Despite all the obstacles, Dynamic Pricing relentlessly kept on in the stretch, overhauling Edict and Heredia nearing the wire to get the victory.

Dynamic Pricing entered the Beaugay off a lengthy freshening, after having finished third in both the G2 Lake Placid Stakes and the Listed Winter Memories Stakes. Sunday’s victory was her first since capturing the G2 Edgewood Stakes at Churchill Downs in May 2024.

Bred in Ireland by Epona Bloodstock, Dynamic Pricing is out of Shemda, a winning daughter of Dutch Art. Shemda is a half-sister to multiple Graded Stakes winner Shamida (Australia) and to Stakes-placed Shajak (Zarak).

Dynamic Pricing’s victory capped an incredible day for her sire, Night of Thunder, who also saw his three-year-old daughter, Desert Flower, remain undefeated with her win in the G1 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket. Not to be overlooked is another daughter, Sunly, capturing the Listed Prix de la Seine at ParisLongchamp.

Night Of Thunder has established himself as one of the most exciting stallions in the world. To date, he has sired six individual G1 winners, and 63 individual Stakes winners, including 2024 Irish Champion Stakes winner Economics and four-time G1-winning sprinter Highfield Princess.
