Goldistyle continued a fantastic afternoon at Longchamp for Dubawi when adding a first Stakes win in the Listed Prix Maurice Zilber on Sunday, 15 May.
The progressive four-year-old rounded off last season with a promising second in the Listed Isola Bella and showed an excellent turn-of-foot today to claim the seven furlong contest by one and a half lengths.
Owned and bred by Wertheimer and Frere, the regally-bred Goldistyle is a half-sister to G1-placed Terrakova out of the exceptional multiple G1w Goldikova (Anabaa). She is an own-sister to G1-performer Anodin and half-sister to G1 Prix Vermeille heroine Galikova. They in turn are out of a winning sister to dual G1 victrix Gold Splash, a daughter of G1 Prix Saint Alary winner Riviere d’Or.
Earlier on the card, Modern Games clinched a second G1 win taking the G1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains, providing Dubawi with a notable cross-channel Classic double after Coroebus’ victory in the G1 2000 Guineas two weeks previously.
