Daughter of Casamento impresses at Deauville

Rythmique becomes the latest winner for her first-season sire

Casamento continues to add to his tally of winners and on 8 December, his well-bred daughter Rythmique ran out a convincing winner at Deauville.

The Jean-Claude Rouget-trained filly landed the 1900m conditions race by two and a half lengths, becoming the 14th individual winner for Casamento in the process.

Rythmique was bred by Sir Edmund Loder and is out of the winning Red Ransom mare Reclamation, herself a half-sister to G1 Darley Irish Oaks heroine Vintage Tipple.

Casamento has made a very promising start to his stud career, siring tough, progressive horses including Group-performing duo Kings Gift (second in the Horris Hill Stakes) and Stamp Collecting. He is also sire of fellow multiple winners Noivado and Silver Casina.

Casamento stands at Dalham Hall Stud at a fee of £5,000 October 1st SLF. If you are interested in sending your mare to him in 2017, please call the Nominations team on +44 1638 730070.
