Chance To Dance graduates to Group class at Ellerslie

Son of Teofilo continues outstanding NZ form

Teofilo's Irish-bred son Chance To Dance added a ninth career win and a third at Black Type level to his record on Tuesday, 7 November when spearing through the pack close to home to land the G3 Alison Stakes at Ellerslie, NZ.

Chance to Dance won on five occasions in his native Ireland, including once at Listed level for his breeder and trainer Jim Bolger. This September he was victorious in the Listed Karaka Classic.

Chance To Dance is out of Crystal Ballet, a half-sister Rodrigo De Triano, whose five G1 wins included the English and Irish 2,000 Guineas.

Teofilo has enjoyed another successful year on the racecourse, siring three G1 winners in Ajman Princess, Happy Clapper and Humidor. He is also sire of Group-winning juvenile Tantheem, plus fellow Stakes winner Mildenberger, third in the G2 Royal Lodge Stakes.

Teofilo stands at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €40,000 Oct 1, Special Live Foal.
