Shamardal filly impresses at Chantilly
Having narrowly defeated the dual Stakes winner Kataniya (Raven's Pass) on her debut, Usherette stepped up easily win a 1m conditions contest at Chantilly on Friday.
The three-year-old daughter of Shamardal">Shamardal, trained by Andre Fabre, scored by a length and half on soft ground from the well-bred Into The Mystic. The filly, bred and owned by Godolphin, holds an entry for the G3 Prix Chloe back at Chantilly at the end of this month.
Usherette's dam Monday Show has a Raven's Pass yearling colt, a Cape Cross colt foal, and was covered this year by Exceed And Excel.
