Samharry, by the leading source of juvenile talent Exceed And Excel, traveled well throughout on his debut, pulling clear of his nine rivals to score easily by one and a half lengths.
A 600,000gns yearling purchase by Sheikh Hamdan's Shadwell Estate Company, Samharry is a half-brother to his owner's G2 July Stakes victor Anjaal, who went on to be placed in the G2 Lennox Stakes at three.
The pair are half-brothers to a further four winners out of the Peintre Celebre mare Ballymore Celebre, who is herself a half-sister to five Stakes performers including the multiple G3 winner Nysaean.
