Smart son of Teofilo confirms his promise at Leicester

Already the sire of three Group or Stakes juveniles this season, Teofilo">Teofilo looks to have another smart prospect on his hands after Massaat confirmed his very promising debut second with an impressive three-and-three-quarter length victory at Leicester. Only beaten a head by Cymric at Sandown, who has subsequently won again and been placed at G3 level, the Barry Hills-trained colt who holds a Dewhurst Stakes entry could be a major force in back-end Group races.

A Shadwell-homebred, Massaat is the first foal of the multiple juvenile winner Madany, who also has a yearling colt by Exceed And Excel.
