Experto Crede showed an impressive turn of foot to see off a well-bred field in a 6f 2yo maiden at the Newmarket July course.
Trained by Ed Walker, the March-born son of Exceed And Excel was bred by Rabbah Bloodstock out of the Pivotal mare Shepherdia.
Shepherdia raced in France, and is a half-sister to the G1-placed Chattahoochee War, a G3 winner in the US who was runner-up in the G1 Secretariat Stakes. The pair are also half-siblings to the Stakes-placed juvenile Buffalo Billy.
Shepherdia has a Reckless Abandon filly foal, and was covered this season by Slade Power.
