Ghaiyyath had a banner day on Thursday, 23 July when siring two new Stakes winners.
First to strike was his two-year-old daughter Aperoll, who gained a valuable first Black Type victory when making all the running in the Listed Star Stakes. Coming into the race on the back of an excellent third in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot, she battled gamely near the line to win by a neck.

Bred by Plantation Stud and a 80,000gns yearling, Aperoll is a daughter of the Exceed And Excel mare Rue Cambon, who hails from the family of G1 winner Gorella.
Later in the day at Vichy in France, Madame Fayette won on her first attempt in Stakes company when narrowly getting her head in front in the Listed Prix Madame Jean Couturie. Trained in Czechia by Dalibor Torok, the three-year-old filly had previously won a Maiden at Lyon-Parilly in four career starts.
Owned and bred by Ecurie Haras de Beaufay, Madame Fayette is the first winner bred out of the Stakes-placed mare Lexington Grace (Sir Prancealot), a relative of G1 Queen Anne third Maljoom.
Ghaiyyath has now sired 21 Black Type performers in 2026, eight of whom have won at Listed level or higher. They are headed by the European-bred G1 winner Opera Ballo, who runs in the Sussex Stakes next week at Goodwood, and the Australian-bred Observer, who stands on the Darley roster at Northwood Park on the back of victories in the G1 Victorian Derby and Australian Guineas.
